Landed a 4-timer in Naas Grade 1 last season before career-best second in the Baring Bingham at Cheltenham. Looked a bit unlucky to fall in the BetMGM Cup (sent off 6/1) at this year's Festival and interesting that Jack Kennedy prefers him to Bowensonfire.
Confirmed himself a decidedly smart performer when landing Grade 3 Limestone Lad at Naas in January, and though he could bag the lead again here, this is a deeper race.
Smart hurdler shaped better than the result when third in the BetMGM Cup at Cheltenham, finishing with more to give having been derailed by a bad mistake 2 out, and he's surely capable of making an impact in Grade 2 company on the back of that career-best effort.
Smart chaser took his record under Paul Townend to 3 wins from 4 starts with a confidence-boosting success on return to hurdles at Thurles. His stable jockey looks elsewhere now that he's now pitched into deeper waters, though.
Thoroughly likeable type who found marked improvement to see off gambled-on I Started A Joke when landing Leopardstown double but was unable to sustain his effort off a career-high mark when midfield in the County at Cheltenham. Should at least hold his own in graded company, though.
Likeable veteran, who having won the race twice previously, showed plenty of ability remains when runner-up in Grade 2 National Spirit at Fontwell in February. Faces a much tougher task here, however.
Beaten less than 2 lengths behind Storm Heart in Grade 3 Red Mills at Gowran in February but ran no sort of race in the BetMGM Cup last time, and the stable look to have better chances elsewhere.
Very lightly-raced 6-y-o whose maiden form from last season (including course win) could hardly have worked out better, and he made a most encouraging return (not given hard time) behind Storm Heart in the Red Mills. Likely he'll improve for this longer trip and merits serious consideration.
Yet to add to his 2024 Supreme Hurdle success, underperforming on handicap chase debut in the Golden Miller at the Festival this time around, though he isn't one to dismiss lightly returning to hurdles in first-time cheekpieces.
Low-mileage 7-y-o resumed progress with success in Grade 3 Quevega Mares Hurdle at Punchestown in February, though this is likely to prove a bridge too far.

Forecasts
Storm Heart (9/4), Kawaboomga (5/2), The Yellow Clay (11/2), Slade Steel (6/1), Glen Kiln (8/1), Bowensonfire (14/1), Blizzard Of Oz (20/1), Brewin'upastorm (33/1), Farren Glory (33/1), Grainne A Chroi (40/1)
Unexposed KAWABOOMGA gets the vote in a competitive renewal, with stablemate Storm Heart fancied to make it a 1-2 for Willie Mullins, following an eye-catching third in the County.
