Smart winning chaser in 2023 but unreliable nowadays. Completed for the first time in five starts (first-time blinkers) when second of 10 in handicap chase at Windsor 78 days ago but needs to back it up now with headgear retained.

Forecasts

Bumpy Evans (13/8), Calimystic (5/2), Scarface (11/4), Kap Ouest (4/1), Royal Jewel (9/2), Tahmuras (7/1), Nickelforce (10/1), Hardy Du Seuil (10/1)

A case can be made for a few of these but it's still hard to ignore CALIMYSTIC who has created an excellent impression in going 2-2 over fences at Newbury and Sandown and still looks ahead of his mark. The reliable Bumpy Evans returns after a break and could emerge as the one to give Nicky Henderson's 7-y-o most to do.
