Winner on handicap debut at Uttoxeter (heavy) last season but well below form all 3 starts this time around, a return to that course failing to spark a revival in January.

Mark is in freefall (pulled up at Newcastle in January) and hopes pinned on first-time visor (along with previously worn tongue strap) sparking improvement.

Lightly-raced 7-y-o maiden has shown form to suggest he can be competitive off this sort of mark, though needs to bounce back having returned lame at Hexham just 10 days ago. Tongue strap goes on first time.
