Not without promise in 3 novice hurdles in 2023/24. Lengthy absence to defy on handicap debut, but one to note in the betting fitted with a first-time hood.

Placed once from 3 starts in bumpers, but brought along gradually in maiden/novice hurdles. Makes handicap debut.

Maiden hurdler who hasn't set the world alight in handicap chases this season and has plenty to prove now back over the smaller obstacles.

No real impact in a handful of outings for this yard, including over fences. Easy to look elsewhere.

A modest winning stayer on the Flat who stepped up on his previous hurdling efforts when 14 lengths third of 14 to Carlton in novice handicap at Huntingdon last time. A repeat of that performance will see him go close here.

Turned in best effort over hurdles when fourth on handicap bow over C&D in February, but took a backwards step in a similar event at Sedgefield last time. Might benefit from a longer trip.

Took a step forward when a 2-length fourth of 10 to Guet Apens in a novice hurdle here last month. Should have more to offer now switching to a handicap, with this step back up in trip likely to suit. One to be interested in.

Point winner who left previous hurdles form behind when 3 lengths second of 9 to Queen Roslyn in a mares handicap here last time. Big player back up in trip if able to build on that effort.

Arrives with little recent form. Wears first-time visor and races from out of the handicap.
