Useful at best but has gone backwards following a solid enough start to this season, again failing to see things out when fifth of 7 at Warwick (3¼m, good to soft) last month. Something to prove despite much-reduced mark.
Bumper/hurdles winner who disappointed on return/chase debut in November but shaped much better than being pulled up suggests back with this yard over hurdles at Haydock (3m) 6 weeks ago, badly hampered 2 out. Remains low-mileage and expected to take a step forward.
Has edged back down the weights this season and recent efforts have hinted that he's working his way back to form, needing a stronger gallop when second in a 7-runner handicap hurdle at Ffos Las (3m, heavy) 43 days ago.
Lightly-raced 9-y-o who was going the right way when landing 3m novice/handicap hurdles at Uttoxeter in summer 2024. Shaped well for a long way on return from 20 months off with sixth of 9 at Wincanton (24,7f, good to soft) 4 weeks ago and is interesting with Bowen replacing 10-lb conditional.
Progressive individual who landed a brace of handicap hurdles at Sedgefield in February before overcoming errors to complete the hat-trick in a 3-runner handicap chase there 2 weeks ago. Should face competition for the lead here but has to be shortlisted in his present form.
Out-and-out stayer who ran his best race of the season when runner-up at Hexham (23.3f) in December. Made mistakes and again seemed wanting for speed when 27¼ lengths fifth of 7 to Ballin Bay at Sedgefield (27f, soft) 44 days ago. Hard to see him ending long losing run.
Ended a long losing run reverted to hurdles in 9-runner handicap at Hexham (23.3f, heavy) in December but hasn't looked enthusiastic when pulling up on both subsequent outings.
All 3 wins have come at Hexham, including when looking better than ever back from 4 months off in October. Shaped as if still in form when fourth there the following month but will likely need a career best to take this after another absence.
Won staying handicap hurdles at Kelso and Ayr last season. Good second at the latter venue (3m, heavy) in January and shaped as if still in good form when fifth at C&D the following month, paying the price late for big move into contention. Not ruled out in first-time visor.
Lightly raced 8-y-o who landed a gamble at Market Rasen on handicap debut at the start of February before following up in comprehensive fashion at Taunton a month later. Beaten only by another unexposed type at the latter track 37 days ago and there's reason to believe he'll stay this longer trip.

Jupiter Des Mottes (6/4), Rocheval (5/1), Cooler Than Me (11/2), Ballin Bay (13/2), Maura Jeanne (9/1), Ramo (9/1), Kyntara (9/1), Dr Seb (10/1), Guernesey (16/1), Adveram (20/1), Robert d'Ores (50/1)
JUPITER DES MOTTES was still in contention when badly hampered at the second last on his first start after rejoining Nicky Richards at Haydock last time and a chance is taken that he'll build on that effort here. Ballin Bay has been in fine form over both hurdles and fences of late and looks the biggest danger despite a career-high mark, with Cooler Than Me also worth considering upped in both trip and grade.
