BetMGM Fillies' And Mares' Championships Handicap

Progressive filly proved strong at the finish when winning a Dundalk conditions race over this trip before following up with something in hand in a 1m handicap there last time. Hard to rule out further improvement but will need to overcome a tricky draw to land the hat-trick.

Justified strong support in impressive fashion when making it 2-2 at this track in January, finding a chunk of improvement to boot. Still likely ahead of the handicapper despite a 10 lb rise, and she's the one they all have to beat.

Very much a filly on the up last year, winning back-to-back all-weather handicaps, though her mark has suffered as a result of 2 creditable efforts in listed company, latterly when fifth of 16 at Deauville in December.

Twice a winner (including on all-weather) in France and ran as well as she has on the figures when fifth of 8 in a Deauville conditions race on final start for G. Hernon in February. Sold for €32,000 since and will need to have improved for a change of scenery.

Much improved when readily seeing off Stateira at Southwell in December and while she hasn't progressed in the same manner as that rival, her stable debut (sold out of Ed Walker's yard for 40,000) was a solid one, finishing ½-length fifth behind Ziggy's Queen at Lingfield.

Went off too hard in this race last year (looked to have plenty in trouble approaching final furlong) but under a more customary patient ride, proved better than ever when winning comfortably at Southwell latest. 6 lb rise makes life tougher, though.

Finished creditable sixth in this race 12 months ago but was a much-improved model when successful over 1m here in February. Slightly disappointing over same C&D last time, though probably worth another chance with Billy Loughnane aboard for first time.

Strong-travelling sort was a decisive winner of Dundalk maiden prior to finishing 5¼ lengths third behind Stateira in a trial for this race over C&D last time. She's very much the type that Jamie Spencer excels on though, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see her finish closer.

Solid fourth in 2025 renewal of this race and looked the likely winner before being collared on the line by Ziggy's Queen in Lingfield last time. Seemingly as good as ever and should give her running again.

Has form at this trip but all her wins have come over 6f, stepping back up in distance here having failed to show her early foot at Kempton (in a race she'd won the year previously) last time.

Has enjoyed a fine all-weather campaign, producing a striking turn of foot (despite a typically awkward head carriage) to see off Powdering by a short head at Lingfield (7f) last time, clearly benefitting from longer trip/first-time hood. Needs considering in a race that ought to be run to suit.
