Overcame some rather suspect jumping to gain a deserved success in 8-runner maiden hurdle at Plumpton earlier in the month. Likely to be competitive back in handicap company and stepping up in trip.

Point winner who showed fair form to place in multiple maiden hurdles between 2½m-3m for Paul Nolan in Ireland. Yet to fire for Dan Skelton but interesting back in handicap company from a reduced mark. Tongue tie back on and worth noting if the market speaks in his favour.

Runner-up in an Irish point and showed promise when third in an Ayr bumper last March. Yet to build on an encouraging hurdling debut behind a subsequent Grade 2 winner at Sedgefield but appeals as the type who could benefit from being ridden more positively.

Offered something to work with in bumpers last spring and showed more than previously over hurdles when fourth in 7-runner maiden at Hereford on latest start, not knocked about. Into handicaps now and could well raise his game further with longer trip promising to suit.

On a long losing run but went down fighting to a reformed character at Ffos Las (3m, heavy) on latest start. Big chance if backing that up despite a 4 lb rise.

Little to shout about in a bumper/trio of novice hurdles but could be seen in a much better light now handicapping over a markedly longer trip (third in a 3m point earlier in career). Watch the betting.

Yet to build on promising hurdle debut for Gordon Elliott, offering little switched to a handicap after 6 months off at Stratford on latest start. This much longer trip should suit.

Underwent a breathing operation (also tongue tied) before getting off the mark in 7-runner handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (23f, good to soft) last May. Returned from a break with a brace of below par efforts but a bit more like it when third at Doncaster on most recent outing,

Made more impact than previously over hurdles when second of 8 in handicap at Ludlow (21.2f, good to soft) in February. Failed to repeat that effort at Huntingdon last time, however.

Escort'kheops has a rather suspect jumping technique but should be competitive back in handicap company all the same, while Coumeenoole needs keeping a close eye on in the betting for all that he's yet to fire in 4 starts for his present yard.
