Defied a lengthy absence in good style on 3m course stable debut in January. Hasn't built on that since, although she was ridden too aggressively when a well-held fourth over 3m at Chepstow in a first-time visor (retained) last time. The drop back in trip and return to Ludlow are possible positives.

Justified support to make a winning reappearance over 3m here in October but hasn't reproduced that since, albeit her latest course third (3m again) was a bit better.

Twice placed in handicap hurdles at up to 20.5f last spring. A sprawl on landing at the eleventh put paid to her chance on February's Leicester chase debut after 9 months off. This should reveal more.

Runner-up sole start in Irish points. Yet to make an impact over hurdles, including in 2 handicaps, but that point background provides some hope now switching to fences.

Dual Irish point winner who ran her best race under Rules when second in 2m Warwick handicap 38 days ago. Taken to go one better off the same mark.

Runner-up on second of 2 outings in Irish points. Poor form under Rules, merely plugging on for a never-dangerous fourth (Lynsey Larue 9 lengths ahead in second) on 3m Warwick chase/handicap debut 38 days ago. That performance doesn't obviously point to her benefiting from today's shorter distance.

Forecasts

Annie Express (6/4), Kit's Coty (3/1), A Little Something (4/1), Wishful Wings (15/2), Moonlightinthepark (11/1), Lynsey Larue (12/1)

Verdict

LYNSEY LARUE represents a yard which does well at Ludlow and is given a chance to build on her improved showing at Warwick last month. Annie Express gained her course success in January over 3m but her performances since suggest she may benefit from this shorter distance and she's second choice ahead of Kit's Coty, another with winning course form.
