Went a long time without a win after landing the 2020 Reynoldstown novice over C&D but has proved a revelation in veterans company, scoring for a fourth time when edging out Gabbys Cross at Newbury 4 weeks ago. Shouldn't be much between them again.

Placed for a second time in veterans events since joining Nick Scholfield when getting collared late by Copperhead at Newbury at the end of last month. Seemed to idle on that occasion but has Sean Bowen on to make his mind up this time.

Newton Abbot specialist but confirmed he's just as good elsewhere when bagging 5-runner handicap chase at Ludlow (3m, good to firm) in October. Unseated back from a break at Taunton 3 weeks ago.

Forecasts
Gabbys Cross (11/8), Copperhead (13/8), Hold Your Fort (11/4), Certainly Red (4/1)
GABBYS CROSS seemed to idle a bit in front when collared late by the reopposing Copperhead at Newbury 4 weeks ago and can take his revenge with Sean Bowen doing the steering this time. Certainly Red made an encouraging return from an absence at Sandown recently and could also have a big say if showing up here in a similar mood.
