Progressive young chaser who is seeking a hat-trick after 2m wins at Southwell (soft) and Newbury (good to soft) last month. More improvement likely and a 5 lb rise may not stop him if he stays this new trip.

His 21f Plumpton handicap success in November was the final leg of a hurdle hat-trick. Only fifth at Taunton next time and switches to fences in a bid to resume his progression.

Showed good attitude when winning back-to-back handicap hurdles at Cartmel last summer. This former point winner made a creditable start to his chase career when 6 lengths second of 4 at Newcastle (3m, good to soft) 14 days ago. Back down in trip.

Ungenuine type but he did go with more enthusiasm than is often the case when making it fourth time lucky over fences in a small-field handicap over this trip at Bangor (soft) last month. No good thing to turn up in similar mood.

Bumper winner who came good at the fourth time of asking over fences in 23f handicap at Stratford 19 days ago. Helped by a faller 2 out on that occasion but a 3 lb rise still looks more than fair.

Point/hurdle winner who walked over on return/chase debut at Sandown in November. Hasn't convinced in handicaps since, although his latest 2m course third was better. Needs to build on that now stepping back up in trip with cheekpieces added to his tongue tie (has also had a breathing operation).

A fairly useful winning hurdler for Dr Richard Newland & Jamie Insole but well-held seventh in a course handicap hurdle on his return for a new yard in October. Off since ahead of this switch to fences.
