Has an excellent strike rate for current yard, though carried head awkwardly/hung left late on when second of 5 at Plumpton in February last year, and has something to find at the weights even if ready to roll.
Resumed progress when landing a third success of the season in sharper-than-ideal conditions at Fakenham (2m) last time, and he cannot be discounted with longer trip likely to be in his favour.
Seemingly won with plenty in hand at Hereford in November but has failed to back that up in 2 attempts, for all there was some mitigation for failing to see out his race on testing ground there last time.
Second in 2m maiden at Doncaster earlier in season but didn't improve for the switch to handicaps when well held fourth of 13 at Newbury. First-time cheekpieces could help sharpen up his jumping, at least.
Three-time course winner looked to be back in form before a late error did for him in a handicap here in October, and the booking of Harry Cobden very much catches the eye on his return.
Landed the first leg of a double over C&D in the autumn and though he again found life tougher in this grade when fifth of 13 at Carlisle last time, returning to a sharper track will benefit.
Got off the mark at this track in March last year but has completely lost his form, for all the ground was against him at Warwick last time.
Lightly-raced 6-y-o placed in back-to-back Worcester maidens before finishing well held off a very harsh opening mark at Chepstow in October. Further 5-month absence suggests he's not the easiest to keep sound, either.
Progressed into a useful sort on the Flat (changed hands for 115,000 gns) and having shown much more when runner-up at Catterick second time over hurdles, was flying too high in the Victor Ludorum last time. Gets handy weight-for-age allowance and looks favourably treated starting out in handicaps.

Forecasts
Morning Mayhem (9/4), Soldier's Leap (3/1), Whatsgoingonmarvin (6/1), Oakley (15/2), Caliach Point (8/1), Juan Bermudez (12/1), Moon Over Clyro (16/1), Telhimlisten (18/1), Get The Value (22/1)
Handicap debutant WHATSGOINGONMARVIN can provide a welcome winner for his stable. Juan Bermudez goes well here and looks interesting with Harry Cobden aboard first time, while Morning Mayhem is still on the up for his emerging yard.
