Age: 6|  Weight: 11-12| J: Finn Lambert(3)| T: D J Jeffreys| OR:  92
Left previous efforts over hurdles well behind when second of 9 in handicap at Huntingdon (15.8f, heavy) last month. That form has taken a few knocks since, though.

Klapton Boy18
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-12| J: Tom Midgley(3)| T: N Kent| OR:  92
Has gone backwards from an encouraging start to his career, faring no better on the back of a breathing operation/further 4 months off at Sedgefield (19.8f, good to soft) 18 days ago. Eased 4 lb but enough to prove.

Daring To Dreamh60
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-10| J: James Best| T: H Dickin| OR:  90
Zoustar filly who hinted at ability in 2 bumpers and has also shown promise on all 3 starts in novice hurdles, so rates an interesting handicap debutante, for all that her opening mark could have been kinder.

Age: 7|  Weight: 11-6| J: J M Quinlan| T: M Crawley| OR:  86
Long-standing maiden but on a handy mark on the pick of his form and ran respectably reverting to hurdling when third in 9-runner handicap at Huntingdon (15.8f, good to soft, 4/1) 17 days ago, albeit well positioned. Can make presence felt once again.

Age: 7|  Weight: 11-3| J: C J Todd| T: D Skelton| OR:  83
Just modest form at best in bumpers for Thomas Gallagher and has shown little over hurdles for Dan Skelton, including on handicap debut/reappearance last time.

Age: 5|  Weight: 11-2| J: Lee Edwards| T: C & A Pogson| OR:  82
Went backwards in a trio of juvenile hurdles for Dan Skelton in late 2024 and showed nothing on first outing for new connections after 15 months off at Huntingdon recently.

Age: 7|  Weight: 10-13| J: James Davies| T: S Hodgson| OR:  79
Made the frame on several occasions in 2024 but has shown nothing either start this season. First-time cheekpieces need to provide a spark.

Fortunate winner of juvenile hurdle at Wetherby in October, left clear at the last, and has found things tougher since, including back on the level latest. First run for yard after leaving Sam England.

Age: 7|  Weight: 10-11| J: Kielan Woods| T: A M Hales| OR:  77| BF
Showed first form over hurdles when runner-up behind class-dropping stablemate on handicap bow at Fakenham in January. Ran at least as well when filling same spot at Plumpton (15.9f) subsequently and seems sure to go well again.

Fair form in 3 Flat starts for Harry Eustace. New connections went to 42,000 gns and hinted at ability whilst proving headstrong in juvenile/maiden hurdles but was pulled up on handicap debut last time.

Forecasts

Lord Of The Glance (9/4), Peace In The Park (7/2), Pottersjetamay (5/1), Daring To Dream (8/1), Beorma (10/1), Klapton Boy (12/1), No Mean Feat (14/1), Genbu (20/1), River Glance (20/1), Ritaan (20/1), Night Burlesque (25/1), Global Eclipse (50/1)

Verdict

LORD OF THE GLANCE has found only one too good on both his handicap starts and appeals as the most solid option. Pottersjetamay is a long-standing maiden but ran creditably back in this sphere on his most recent outing and could well be on the premises again, with handicap-debutante Daring To Dream completing the shortlist.
