Richards 60th Birthday Celebration Mares' Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race)

Debut bumper winner for Pat Murphy in October 2024. Got off the mark over hurdles at Huntingdon in December and improved again when third of 9 in a strong race at Market Rasen last month. Ran no sort of race in the EBF mares final at Newbury last week but still very much the one to beat.

€35,000 Getaway mare. Dam (c107/h107) bumper/2m-2½m hurdle winner. Showed ability/inexperience in an Ascot bumper the previous month but her jumping lacked conviction when well beaten on Kempton hurdling debut since.

Badly in need of the experience when last of 8 in bumper at Worcester (2m, good to soft) on debut in October.

Soundly beaten both starts in bumpers. Cheekpieces applied for this switch to hurdling.

Modest handicapper on Flat (stays 1½m) who went with little encouragement sent hurdling at Doncaster recently.

No impact in pair of bumpers either side of Christmas and was pulled up on recent hurdling debut at Huntingdon.

Fair maiden on the Flat who showed more than first time up over hurdles when fifth of 15 in maiden at Huntingdon (15.8f, good to soft) 17 days ago, despite refusing to settle.

Modest maiden handicapper on Flat (stays 1¾m), down the field on stable debut last time. Others more persuasive on this switch to hurdling.

Offered little on her Ludlow debut in October and easily passed over.

Showed fair form in a trio of outings over middle-distances on the Flat for J. S. Bolger (sold 52,000 gns), but she proved alarmingly easy to back after opening odds-on her Musselburgh hurdling debut and ruined her chance by racing too freely.

Made an unpromising start to her career when pulled up in junior hurdle at Warwick in November.
