Notched a second win at listed level when scoring at Leopardstown (1m) last April and was a good fourth in the Minstrel Stakes here later in the season. Probably vulnerable to less-exposed rivals on seasonal comeback here, though.

Smart gelding who bagged the John of Gaunt Stakes at Haydock on return last season. Good third in the Prix de la Foret at Longchamp (7f, good to soft) on penultimate start in 2025 and found drop in trip against him in the Champions Sprint at Ascot when last seen. Leading player back at 7f.

Likeable veteran added to his fine course record when making the breakthrough in listed company in this race last season. Down the field in the Irish Lincoln on return though and others make more appeal.

Made successful return last season in the Madrid Handicap at Naas and took his form up another notch when runner-up in Group 2 Minstrel Stakes at C&D in July. Ended the season with a pair of below-par efforts but he's capable of making his presence felt in this company with ground likely to suit.

Strong-travelling sort produced a career best effort to win a 16-runner handicap at C&D (7f, good) on Irish Champions weekend last year. Shaped well in spite of a lack of cover when sixth in the Challenge Cup at Ascot when last seen and he's worth his place back at this level.

Cost €500,000 and a winning debut here (6f, soft) on his sole start at 2 yrs. Built on that when a promising third in the Greenham Stakes on first start last season and was on the wrong side of the track at Royal Ascot next time. Remains with potential having been gelded during his 9-month absence.

Ex-Spanish mare notched her first win for O'Brien in the Ahonoora Handicap at Galway last August before following up in the Group 3 Fairy Bridge Stakes at Tipperary later that month. Ended season with a good fourth of 10 to Ridari in Prix Daniel Wildenstein at Longchamp (1m) and she's respected.

Winner of a 7f Limerick maiden on soft ground last April. Failed to land a serious blow from 4 starts at this level later in the year, though, and this looks a stiff task on her first start since leaving Joseph Patrick O'Brien.

Looked a most exciting prospect when winning both starts last spring, showing a fine turn of foot to overcome some trouble in running when landing the Marble Hill Stakes (6f) here in May. Absent since but is the current favourite for 2,000 Guineas and he's expected to make a winning return.

Little immediate promise when mid-field in maidens here and at Listowel on his first 2 outings last season but proved a different proposition entirely in first-time cheekpieces when the ready winner of a Naas minor event (5.9f) third time up. This is much tougher after 8 months off.

Forecasts

Albert Einstein (11/10), Ten Bob Tony (11/4), East Hampton (9/1), Princess Child (10/1), Rahmi (14/1), Saracen (22/1), Big Gossey (25/1), Lord Massusus (25/1), Neolithic (28/1), Wannabe Royal (40/1)

Verdict

It's hard to go against ALBERT EINSTEIN on his hotly anticipated return, the manner of his 2 victories as a juvenile so impressive that he retains his position as ante-post favourite for the 2,000 Guineas despite not having been seen since May. Ten Bob Tony won at Group 3 level last season prior to finishing third in the Prix de la Foret and rates as the obvious danger with conditions to suit. Several others hold solid frame claims, most notably Rahmi and Princess Child.
