SLANEY OPERA may have found the race coming too soon at Kelso last month but he's had more of a recovery time ahead of this assignment and is appealing off a mark just 2 lb higher than when winning at Sedgefield in January. Last year's 1-2 Mixedwave and Giovanni Change may both be in the thick of things once again, while The Great Escape is worth a second look now switched to fences.
