Has tumbled down the weights and ran as well as he has since joining this yard when second of 10 in handicap at Wolverhampton (12.2f) last week. Worth considering now dropping back in trip.

Completed a Wolverhampton hat-trick at up to 9.5f in January but has struggled since, failing to stay when down the field back at that venue (12.2f) 4 weeks ago. Return to this trip rates more suitable but he's still to defy a mark this high. Hood replaces visor today.

Made a winning start on all-weather debut at Southwell (1m). Exploits mixed thereafter but very much back on track following a 3-month absence when third of 8 in a handicap at Wolverhampton (7/1) 25 days ago, not getting much room to open up near finish. Claims with a repeat.

Raised his game when landing handicaps here/Brighton for Nick Littmoden last summer. Good second on stable debut here in September and returns to this sphere having cut little ice over jumps more recently.

Landed back-to-back turf handicaps here upon joining Denis Quinn last year. Lightly raced since, running poorly in a C&D handicap in January but interesting if market spoke in his favour now starting out for new stable.

Added 2 more Ffos Las handicaps (both over 1¼m on heavy) to his name last summer. Below best on final 2 starts on all-weather/turf and he may well sharpen up for this first start for 5 months.

Low-mileage 4-y-o who ran well when second in 11-runner handicap at Kempton (1m) last month. Probably worth a crack at this longer trip and he's one to consider.

Resumed winning ways over C&D this time last year but proved more miss than hit thereafter, albeit stuck wide the whole way when down the field at Kempton in September. This more suitable starting out for new stable with blinkers back on.

Failed to beat a rival on first 3 all-weather starts but returned to form from totally out of the blue when running out an 80/1 winner of a C&D handicap 4 weeks ago. Retains plenty of handicapping scope up 3 lb on old form but task is to now back that up.

Wolverhampton regular (both career wins gained over 9.5f there). Largely held form well prior to a below par seventh over same C&D 17 days ago but now finds herself operating from last winning mark.

Had very much shaped like ready for a return to this trip but failed to settle under change of tactics and ran poorly in handicap at Chelmsford (well-backed 10/3) 2 weeks ago. However, too soon to be giving up on her for good stable.

C&D winner who finished closer than on first 2 starts this year equipped with first-time blinkers but didn't do enough to make himself of significant interest when fourth of 8 in a handicap at Chelmsford (33/1) 15 days ago. Eased further 3 lb at least.

PLEASANT MAN has slipped in the weights and ran well when second at Wolverhampton 7 days ago. He shades preference over Baloo's Blues who ran creditably when runner up in a stronger race than this on his most recent outing in February. Volto di Medusa and Bronte Beach are others worth keeping an eye on.
