Kilmanahan Beginners Chase

One-time fair hurdler who has shown little since returning from a lengthy absence. Makes very little appeal on chasing debut. Wears first-time cheekpieces.

Failed to complete on his chasing debut in November and was upsides when falling heavily at the last in a handicap won by Mount Frisco at Clonmel on his most recent start over hurdles. Needs a clear round of jumping and an improvement on his hurdling form

Signs of ability when down the field in maiden hurdles and on chasing debut at Fairyhouse last time. He's open to improvement as a chaser but is probably one for handicaps later on.

Fairly useful winning hurdler, who was operating below form when last seen in 2024/25. Absence since a concern but his pedigree offers hope that a switch to chasing could prompt a revival, being a half-brother to Moudan and out of a half-sister to a winning chaser from the family of Marlborough.

Has failed to complete on 2 of his 4 starts in maiden hurdles, but has shown a fair amount of encouragement all the same. Bred to make a chaser and yard already had a winning chasing debutant this month.

Fair winner over hurdles. Has been held back by his jumping over fences but ran better than for a while and jumped better than usual when 9¾ lengths promoted second of 16 to Quornofamonday in handicap at Thurles last time.

Downpatrick maiden hurdle winner last May. Hasn’t built on that in 3 subsequent starts, but it would be no surprise to see him do better now chasing, given he's a winning pointer out of the useful winning chaser Solita.

Travelled well when making a successful handicap debut in a premier juvenile handicap at Cheltenham last April. Stiff task sole hurdling start since but not an obvious type for chasing on pedigree or physique.
