Sinchi Roca³⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-12| J: Paddy Hanlon⁽⁵⁾| T: S Hosie| OR: 119| BF| CD

11/8

Fairly-useful bumper performer who made a winning start over hurdles at Wincanton in January. Not built on that in 2 starts since but clearly wasn't 100% at Fontwell last time and must enter calculations here.

Form: 2-29145

Famous Shoes¹⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 11-5| J: Harriet Tucker⁽⁷⁾| T: N P Mulholland

100/1

Signs of ability on the Flat for Karl Burke but there have been very few positives to take from his efforts in this sphere so far.

Form: 9FPU

Johnjay^h⁴⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-5| J: R T Dunne| T: Kieran Burke

33/1

Modest dual winner on Flat (both 1m) and isn't an obvious type for jumping judged on his pedigree.

Form:

Falls Of Acharn³¹

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: Freddie Gingell| T: P F Nicholls| OR: 116| D

5/6

Progressive dual winner on Flat in Ireland for Jessica Harrington and completed hat-trick on hurdles debut for Paul Nicholls at Musselburgh on New Year's Day. Well held in much better company since but is back in calmer waters here and holds strong claims.

Form: 164

Ettore²⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 10-9| J: N de Boinville| T: N J Henderson

5/1

Fair performer on Flat for Roger Varian but made a low-key start in this sphere for new connections at Newbury last month. In good hands, however, and warrants respect.

Form: 6

Grand Harbour¹⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 10-9| J: Rex Dingle| T: Joe Ponting

100/1

Modest maiden on the Flat who ran poorly on second start for new yard at Wolverhampton earlier this month. Goes hurdling now and is hard to recommend.

Form:

Signore Enzo²³²

Age: 4| Weight: 10-9| J: James Best| T: K Bishop

200/1

Well held in 2 minor events on Flat last summer and it's hard to make a case for him on hurdles debut here.

Form:

Non-Runners

Modern Style¹²⁰

Weight: 10-9| Age: 4

T: N J Hawke J: James Davies

Forecasts

Falls Of Acharn (5/6), Sinchi Roca (11/8), Ettore (5/1), Johnjay (33/1), Grand Harbour (100/1), Famous Shoes (100/1), Modern Style (150/1), Signore Enzo (200/1)

FALLS OF ACHARN has been highly tried since making a winning hurdles bow at Musselburgh earlier this year and will find this company more to his liking. He can get back on the scoreboard. Sinchi Roca looks the obvious danger on form, whilst Ettore should know more about this discipline after his Newbury debut and is also of interest.
