Landed hat-trick last season but hasn't fired this campaign, well held sixth in valuable handicap at Cheltenham in December, having won the corresponding race in 2025. Does benefit from a drop in grade, though.
Again below form at Ascot in November and may have one eye on 3m2f handicap at Cheltenham next month (has won previous 2 renewals).
Sketchy jumper has been hit-and-miss since pulling clear with subsequent Cheltenham winner Ask Brewster on reappearance, not in same form when seeking to land a double at Ludlow last time. However, he does look the type to benefit from the addition of cheekpieces.
In good heart prior to being let down by his jumping in a veterans race at Doncaster and looks up against it back in open company.
Went the right way over hurdles and having split useful pair on second start over fences, failed to build on that promise over C&D last time. First-time headgear and retention of Sean Bowen both positives, however.
Last season's Rowland Meyrick winner looked revitalised by visor (retained) when scoring at Doncaster but wasn't helped by an overly-aggressive ride when distant second in Grimthorpe there last time. Still on handy mark, though, and booking of James Bowen can only be considered a positive.
Built on fine run of form from last season with career best third on Windsor reappearance and despite having disappointed over C&D subsequently (effort flattened out having typically taken strong hold), he's more than earned a second chance.

Havaila (9/4), Elysian Knight (9/4), Some Scope (7/2), King Turgeon (13/2), Ballycamus (9/1), Makin'yourmindup (10/1), Manothepeople (14/1), Almazhar Garde (33/1)
Having gone off too hard in the Grimthorpe, SOME SCOPE may get back on track with James Bowen aboard for the first time. He's narrowly preferred to Havaila, who should be right in the mix if back on song, while Ballycamus could go well with cheekpieces added.
