Produced a promising first effort when second of 11 in a Hexham bumper in November. Still finding in second when falling 2 out on Uttoxeter hurdling debut but rather underwhelming both starts since. Step up in trip should at least suit now handicapping.

Successful over 23f at Uttoxeter last summer but out of sorts lately. Back on a handy mark and any market support would be of note stepping back up to a more suitable trip.

Took advantage of a much-reduced mark when opening account for current connections at Bangor in April. Hasn't offered much in 3 starts since, though, so now has something to prove.

Fair winner on handicap debut at Navan prior to losing her way for Henry De Bromhead. Ran one of her better races when fourth over hurdles on stable debut and wasn't seen to best effect at Uttoxeter next time, though has to bounce back from a lacklustre effort over fences when last seen in January.

Found improvement on the back of another breathing operation when second in a 2½m Ffos Las handicap in October (form worked out well) and backed it up with a solid third at Hereford (19.7f, good) the following month. Not in same form at Plumpton last time and returns here after 3-month absence.

Down the field in 2 bumpers but bettered his previous efforts over hurdles when fourth of 11 at Ludlow (15.8f, soft) last month. Appeals as a likely improver now handicapping.

Showed promise on debut in bumper at Perth last spring but hasn't seen his race out across 3 starts over hurdles, most recently when fifth of 12 at Ludlow (2m, soft) last month. Has had breathing operation ahead of handicap debut.

Runner-up first 2 starts in bumpers and caught the eye under considerate handling when fifth at Newcastle second time up over hurdles. Not figured on either outing since but he still should improve now handicapping with cheekpieces reached for.

Placed on the first of 2 outings in points and has very much looked one for handicaps over longer distances in novice/maiden hurdles around 2m. Type to improve markedly now faced with this sort of test.

Front runner who has turned over a new leaf this season, again dominating faced with testing ground when making it 3 wins from last 4 starts over fences at Market Rasen (19.1f) in February. Clear of the rest when second of 5 in a handicap chase at Leicester since and he's respected back hurdling.

Forecasts

Ayyadieh (4/1), Joeybottles (9/2), Titanium Ring (9/2), Rock Hurley (11/2), Eric Carmen (6/1), Noble George (17/2), Fanny Moon (10/1), Golden Identity (14/1), Supreme Yeats (16/1), Love Me (28/1)

Verdict

AYYADIEH is a stoutly-bred sort that has seemingly been brought along with this kind of test in mind and he's fancied to making a successful switch to handicap company. Fellow handicap newcomers Fanny Moon and Noble George are also expected to step forward and also make the shortlist.
