Won one of these at Stratford in May but rather lost his way back in handicap company this autumn and recent return to hunter chases hasn't sparked a revival. Cheekpieces back on and he's still not fully dismissed given he was useful at his peak.
Dual winner in this sphere in spring 2024 and has produced several good efforts without winning in valuable handicaps since, including when placed in the Grand Sefton for the second consecutive year on return. Early faller back in hunter company at Catterick 2 weeks ago but still sets the standard.
Fairly useful at his best for the Twiston-Davies yard, though lost his way last season. Proved he retains some ability when fourth in a Taunton hunter in January but has since finished a remote third in a point.
Fair chase winner for James Ewart but a little disappointing in 3 handicap starts for Olly Murphy in the first half of this season and point/hunter chase efforts for this yard have been underwhelming.
Fairly useful hurdler/chaser for Sam Thomas and was successful 3 times in points in 2025. Shaped a bit better than the result when fourth in a Cartmel hunter when last seen under Rules in May (hampered home turn). Pulled up on return to point action earlier this month, though.
Useful sort at his best for Emma Lavelle and won twice in points last spring for Amie Waugh. Runner-up in a point in January and now regular rider now also trains on return to Rules.
Multiple point winner but rarely shows his form in hunters, a well-beaten third here last month. Has since finished fourth of 6 in a point. Cheekpieces go on.
Ran in 2 bumpers under Rules for James Evans and got off the mark at the second attempt over hurdles at Hereford over 3 years ago. Lightly raced without success in points since. Can only be watched on belated return to Rules action.
Dual hurdles winner who made a winning start between the flags last May. Pulled up both starts in that sphere in December but more like it back under Rules when runner-up at Stratford 10 days ago. Jumping remains a concern, however.

Forecasts
Gaboriot (6/5), Missed Tee (9/2), Frere d'Armes (6/1), Killer Clown (15/2), Galileo Silver (9/1), Guy (10/1), Amidnightstar (20/1), Hold Onto The Line (50/1), Rewritetherules (50/1)
GABORIOT didn't get very far on his return to hunter chase company at Catterick earlier in the month but is worth another chance given his form in good-quality handicaps. Killer Clown was useful at his peak and clearly retains some ability based on his form in points, so is interesting on hunter debut, whilst the similarly once-useful Frere d'Armes may find this more suitable than the stamina test he faced at Fakenham last time.
