Age: 8|  Weight: 11-10| J: Joshua Thompson(5)| T: Micky Hammond| OR:  95| D
Hurdle/dual Flat winner in 2024 but has failed to trouble the judge since, failing to see his race out again when eighth of 15 over 2½m at Newcastle in first-time blinkers (retained) 24 days ago. It remains to be seen whether a drop back in trip makes a difference.

Long-standing maiden over hurdles but was runner-up off higher marks at Perth last autumn. Given a break since running poorly on his first start for this yard at Doncaster in November and Sean Bowen booked on return. Also refitted with a tongue tie.

Age: 8|  Weight: 11-0| J: Sean Quinlan| T: D Thompson| OR:  85| CD
Multiple winner on the Flat who came good for the first time over hurdles when seeing off 7 rivals in a C&D handicap (soft) 19 days ago. Had a bit in hand and should remain very competitive off 8 lb higher.

Ashdown Forest54
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-11| J: Craig Nichol| T: Jedd O'Keeffe| OR:  92WS
Fair maiden on the Flat for Ed Walker. Has yet to translate that ability to hurdles but possible he could fare better now handicapping after a breathing operation.

Age: 4|  Weight: 10-8| J: Jamie Hamilton| T: M & D Easterby| OR:  89
Fourth in a bumper and 2 juveniles from his 5 career starts and appeals as a potential improver now handicapping for the first time. On the shortlist.

Ice Jett121
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-5| J: Tristan Durrell| T: D Skelton| OR:  86WS
Fair maiden on Flat (stays 1½m) in Ireland. Beaten a long way in 3 juvenile hurdles for Dan Skelton but could easily prove a different proposition now handicapping after 4 months off (has had breathing operation). Very interesting, particularly if backed.

Forecasts

Berry Edge (2/1), Ice Jet (4/1), Roland Garros (8/1), Cawthorne Banker (8/1), Ashdown Forest (8/1), Mystical Martika (10/1), Golden Millie (12/1), Big Love (12/1), Sweeper System (20/1), Kopa Kilana (25/1), Justus (33/1)

Verdict

The vote goes to Dan Skelton handicap newcomer ICE JET back from a breathing operation, with confidence in his chance increased should the betting vibes be strong. Big Love is another who rates a potential improver on his first start in the handicap ranks and is second choice ahead of last month's C&D scorer Berry Edge.
