Hurdle/dual Flat winner in 2024 but has failed to trouble the judge since, failing to see his race out again when eighth of 15 over 2½m at Newcastle in first-time blinkers (retained) 24 days ago. It remains to be seen whether a drop back in trip makes a difference.

Fair maiden on the Flat. Modest form over hurdles, finishing 15 lengths second in 2m Southwell maiden 15 days ago. Handicap hurdle debut.

Multiple winner on the Flat who came good for the first time over hurdles when seeing off 7 rivals in a C&D handicap (soft) 19 days ago. Had a bit in hand and should remain very competitive off 8 lb higher.

Fourth in a bumper and 2 juveniles from his 5 career starts and appeals as a potential improver now handicapping for the first time. On the shortlist.

Fair maiden on Flat (stays 1½m) in Ireland. Beaten a long way in 3 juvenile hurdles for Dan Skelton but could easily prove a different proposition now handicapping after 4 months off (has had breathing operation). Very interesting, particularly if backed.

The vote goes to Dan Skelton handicap newcomer ICE JET back from a breathing operation, with confidence in his chance increased should the betting vibes be strong. Big Love is another who rates a potential improver on his first start in the handicap ranks and is second choice ahead of last month's C&D scorer Berry Edge.
