Jumped well when off the mark with an all-the-way success over 29f here (soft) last month. Good chance he'll be allowed a soft lead and, granted another assured round of jumping, this 6 lb higher mark may prove to be within reach.

Got on top close home with first-time cheekpieces enlisted on third chase start at Sedgefield (22f, soft) in December. However, he's failed to build on that since and his two rivals here make more appeal.

Placed on second of his 2 starts between the flags and left hurdles form behind when making a successful chase debut at Ffos Las (2m, good to soft) last summer. Creditable efforts over similar trips to this the last twice and he should have a major say.

Forecasts

Verdict

BROTHER BORIS clearly relished the stamina test when opening his account in a 29f handicap here last time but he should cope with this drop in distance and a 6 lb rise is unlikely to be enough to stop him in his tracks. Yorgunnabeplucky should ensure that the selection doesn't have things all his own way, while Uncle Al will need to take a step back in the right direction if he's to trouble his two rivals.
