Successful in juvenile hurdles at Kempton and this course late in 2024 and signed off last season with a good second in a Newton Abbot handicap. Has edged down to an attractive mark following 4 tame efforts this time round but he clearly needs to bounce back in a major way.
Landed maiden/novice hurdles last spring and shaped as though the run was needed when fourth of 9 back from a 5-month break at Newton Abbot in October. Ran poorly at Exeter the following month, though, and now tried in a tongue strap.
Opened account in this sphere in 2m juvenile at Kempton in December 2024 and also hit the target at that course on the level in January. Another good efforts on the Flat when runner-up at Southwell recently and he merits respect returned to hurdles off a workable mark.
Four-time winner from 7 starts over fences but he's probably worth taking on back over hurdles given his record in this sphere (0-8).
Bumper scorer who made a positive start over hurdles at Worcester last summer. Has failed to build on that in 2 subsequent starts but mark for this handicap debut looks fair and he remains of interest.
Improved model following a break, successful in 2m handicaps at Doncaster and Uttoxeter in the latter stages of last year. Notched third success when accounting for 8 rivals at Huntingdon last time and he's impossible to rule out, for all that this 9 lb higher mark demands more.
Reached the frame in juvenile hurdles during the autumn and performed well following a wind op when third of 10 at Musselburgh on New Year's Day. Now tried in a hood and improvement needed on this handicap/stable debut.
Made a low-key start in handicaps but been in better form of late, backing up his Ludlow third with another creditable fourth of 11 at Windsor (2m, good) at the turn of the year. Now 2 lb lower and should make his presence felt.
Remains a maiden but arrives in pretty good nick, coming home fifth of 13 in a C&D handicap in December and was in the process of running well when exiting at the second last at Wincanton next time. Possibilities.
Fairly useful performer on the Flat for Ollie Sangster and it's not at all difficult to envisage him leaving his 3 previous runs in this sphere well behind now pitched into a handicap hurdle for the first time.

Forecasts
St Lukes Chelsea (4/1), Siam Park (9/2), Postponed Legacy (9/2), Knight Templar (6/1), Tilehurst (15/2), Kentucky River (8/1), Midnight View (8/1), Public Enemy (14/1), Moutarde (22/1), Arctic Voyage (28/1)
Conditions here are likely to be quicker than what KENTUCKY RIVER has so far faced over hurdles and that factor, combined with the obvious potential for improvement now pitched into a handicap for the first time in this sphere, makes the 4-y-o very appealing. Midnight View appears to be getting his act together and may emerge as the main danger, for all that Postponed Legacy has to be feared in current form. Knight Templar and Tilehurst are others to consider.
