Three-time C&D winner last season, including this race off 6 lb higher. Has failed to fire this term but still no surprise were she to stage a revival.
Dual C&D winner last season but unable to make the same sort of impact this time round, including over fences. Needs a return to Carlisle to help spark a revival.
Got off the mark in emphatic fashion at Newcastle (2½m, good to soft), travelling powerfully and quickening clear on the run-in. Looks speedy enough to cope with the drop back in trip and a 6 lb rise may underestimate her.
Placed twice at the turn of the year before snapping a losing run in 5-runner Catterick mares' handicap (2m, soft) 4 weeks ago. Likely to give another good account.
Runner-up sole start in Irish points but yet to make an impact over hurdles, including well held on 21f Ludlow handicap debut in a first-time tongue tie (retained) last month. Quickly drops back in trip.
Modest form in bumpers/maiden hurdles but stands a more realistic chance now handicapping. Whether this drop back in trip suits remains to be seen, though.
Poor form at best in maiden hurdles in Ireland for Norman Lee and pulled up in 2 maiden points there this winter. Hardly an obvious one on those exploits but joined a shrewd yard and worth a second look in the betting on handicap debut.
Progressed well as a stayer on the Flat last year, winning 3 handicaps. Has yet to make a significant impact over hurdles but likely found 2m at Catterick a bit sharp when sixth of 13 on handicap debut in this sphere. Today's stiffer test could spark improvement.
Point winner. Promise when fourth in an Aintree bumper last spring but has yet to translate that to hurdling, including in a couple of handicaps in the autumn. A 4-month break needs to have a positive effect.

Forecasts
Holly Bird (7/4), Disco Annie (4/1), Vanilla Dancer (4/1), Queen Roslyn (9/2), Georgie's Malt (11/1), Out On Her Own (20/1), Moonlightinthepark (25/1), Lady Babs (25/1), Stage Lady (33/1)
HOLLY BIRD had something to spare at Newcastle and is selected to make light of a 6 lb rise. Fellow last-time-out scorer Vanilla Dancer is an obvious danger, while progressive Flat stayer Queen Roslyn could find this test bringing her stamina more into play than was the case on her 2m Catterick handicap hurdle debut in January.
