Enhanced good record here when winning 4-runner veterans event over this trip in November 2024 but pulled up here following month and not seen since.
Lightly-raced for his age and enhanced good strike rate over fences in 7-runner handicap chase at Carlisle (24.5f, good to soft, 11/2) 19 days ago, staying on well. Yard remains in good form so respected despite career-high mark.
Recorded back-to-back wins at Plumpton early last year and made a successful return over a trip short of his optimum here (20f) in November. Creditable efforts next 2 starts before stiff task at Ascot latest. Can bounce back.
Made a successful chase debut in 4-runner handicap at Ascot on last season's return and recorded first win since when making most fitted with this headgear at Ludlow 17 days ago. Not the most straightforward but player up 3 lb.
Left hurdles form behind to make a winning debut over fences in handicap at Newbury on return over Christmas, travelling/jumping well. Had nothing to spare at the finish that day but entitled to improve.
In good form this summer, resuming winning ways at Perth. Looked fit returning from 5 months off but struggled at Cheltenham in November and off again since.
Hurdles winner who has been struggling over fences this season but took a step back in the right direction when third off reduced mark at Newbury and remains potentially well treated on hurdles form.
Scored readily over fences at Hereford and Exeter in the spring. Mixed record since, however, running poorly at Windsor latest. Headgear now reached for.

Calimystic (11/5), Tune In A Box (9/4), Bucksy Des Epeires (11/2), Sound And Fury (7/1), Welcom To Cartries (7/1), Invincible Nao (8/1), Yes Day (10/1), Imperial Alex (18/1), Certainly Red (50/1)
CALIMYSTIC had nothing to spare when making a winning chase debut at Newbury on return over Christmas but it was still a big step up on his hurdles form so this lightly-raced sort gets the vote in an ordinary race for the grade. Sound And Fury enhanced his good strike rate over fences at Carlisle and is another to consider along with Tune In A Box, who remains potentially well treated on hurdles form.
