Thriving in handicaps this winter for current yard, resuming winning ways at Southwell (11/8F) last week. Much respected under a 5 lb penalty.
Confirmed return to form when narrow winner of 6f handicap at Ripon in June but wasn't in the same form at Hamilton later that month and has been absent since.
Wide-margin winner at Wolverhampton in November who ran better than on his last couple of starts when third of 4 in a handicap there (13/2) 3 weeks ago. Eased a further 2 lb and can't be ruled out in refitted cheekpieces.
With reappearance run behind him, returned to form in a first-time visor when winning a C&D handicap in February, making up loads of ground after having been forced to switch. Ran at least as well in defeat from a 3 lb higher mark at Southwell since and looks sure to go well again.
Course specialist with 10 wins over C&D, including this race 12 months ago. Fared best of those up with the pace on his most recent C&D and can give another good account in a refitted visor.
Followed a win at Thirsk in September with two seconds but found run of good form coming to a halt at Doncaster on final outing. Makes a belated return to all-weather after a break.
Finally got off the mark for current yard in 8-runner handicap here in February. Finished last in a similar event 2 days late but clearly wasn't 100% on the day, reportedly returned lame.
Shaped better than the distance beaten suggests when fourth of 8 in a C&D handicap (12/1) on most recent outing, repeatedly squeezed. Now below his last winning mark and can be competitive with a clearer passage.

Forecasts
Goldmoyne (2/1), Golden Strike (2/1), Al Muqdad (9/2), Sea Legend (9/1), Lessay (12/1), Bobby Joe Leg (14/1), Hectic (25/1), Ey Up Its Jazz (33/1)
GOLDEN STRIKE confirmed he's firmly back on the right path when only narrowly failing to follow up his recent C&D win at Southwell, so he remains of firm interest from a mark in the low 70s. Last year's winner Bobby Joe Leg should continue to run well despite his advancing years, as should the penalised Goldmoyne, who's done nothing but thrive for his current yard this winter.
