Some encouragement in his qualifying runs, but tailed off in a trio of juvenile hurdles and only modest form in handicaps on the Flat last 3 starts, seventh of 9 at Lingfield 9 days ago. Has been given a chance by the handicapper, though.

Made the frame on first 3 starts in handicaps, including on stable debut when fourth of 9 at Lingfield (10f) in January. Failed to stay at the same course (12f) 20 days ago, so he could still have more to offer back down in trip with cheekpieces added.

Placed twice in turf handicaps last season, both on ground softer than good. However, making first start since Peter Chapple-Hyam he was tailed off at Wolverhampton (9.5f) on return 13 days ago. Cheekpieces discarded.

Back to form when making the frame twice over 1m at Southwell in January, before seeming unsuited by the drop back to 7f when fourth of 9 at the same course 19 days ago. Could be ready to return to winning ways.

Won 4 times in early 2025 but ended the year out of form, reverting to his slow-starting ways when sixth of 12 at Redcar (10f) on final outing in October. First run since leaving Gay Kelleway.

Returned to form on second start for current yard when opening account in minor event at Lingfield in February. Backed up that effort 9 days later when third of 9 in handicap at Newcastle, so she merits consideration.

Form went the wrong way in Ireland last year and fared little better on first run since leaving A. McIntyre when eighth of 11 in handicap at Southwell in January. Has eased further in the weights but others still more persuasive.

Got up late to open account in minor event at Lingfield (1m) in January. Run best excused when sixth of 8 in handicap at the same course (10f) 23 days ago, suffering an overreach and pulling a shoe, so he's worth another chance.

Long time without a win but ran well when fourth of 11 over C&D in January. However, she's finished down the field at this course both starts since.

THE SPOTLIGHT KID has worked his way back to form this winter and, with the return to 1m promising to suit, he can take advantage of his reduced mark. Rosemary's Rose also arrives in good heart and is respected, while Celtic John had excuses last time so could bounce back.
