Moorland Rambler^p²⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 12-0| J: C Gethings| T: Mrs J Williams| OR: 98| CD

9/4

Took this 12 months ago and he comes here in decent nick, a respectable fourth of 12 in handicap hurdle at Ludlow (21.2f, soft) 25 days ago. Ought to be thereabouts in his follow-up bid from an easing mark.

Getaway With You^p,t⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 12-0| J: Nick Slatter⁽³⁾| T: D Killahena & G McPherson| OR: 98| D

11/2

Is enjoying an excellent season and garnered a fourth win in 12-runner handicap hurdle at Chepstow (19.4f, soft) 8 days ago. Up 4 lb but this game sort merits serious consideration.

Ionity³⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 11-8| J: Ben Jones| T: Evan Williams| OR: 92| CD

11/10

Got off the mark over C&D in May 2024. Very lightly raced since but he resumed from 14 months off with an excellent third of 13 in 2m4f handicap hurdle at Wetherby 38 days ago, short of room run-in. Very much one to consider despite a 3 lb weights rise.

Form: 72/133-3

Bolsover Bill^b,t¹⁶

Age: 9| Weight: 11-8| J: Miss Victoria Malzard⁽⁵⁾| T: Harry Derham| OR: 92| C| D

7/1

Landed back-to-back 2m3f handicap chases at Exeter in January 2024. Below that level under both codes since returning from a lengthy absence this season, though not disgraced when fourth of 11 in 2m3f Chepstow handicap hurdle 16 days ago. Needs to build on it now.

Form: 3/63974

25/1

Lightly-raced sort who advanced his form on his first go in handicap company when third of 11 at Chepstow (19.4f, soft) 16 days ago. Needs considering off a 2 lb lower mark here.

Forecasts

Ionity (11/10), Moorland Rambler (9/4), Getaway With You (11/2), Bolsover Bill (7/1), Onehundredneighty (25/1), Wild Nephin (25/1)

None of these can be ruled out but it could pay to side with GETAWAY WITH YOU who displayed a good attitude when going in at Chepstow recently and is taken to defy a 4 lb weight rise and bag a fifth victory of the current campaign. Ionity shaped well after a long absence when third at Wetherby last time and could emerge as the chief threat ahead of last year's victor Moorland Rambler and the handily-weighted Wild Nephin.
