Dual bumper/hurdle winner who has proved he retains ability after a long absence, shaping as though the return to 3m will suit when third at Kelso (22.7f) in December. One to consider back off a break with yard in better form.
Dual Uttoxeter winner isn't the easiest to catch right but he took a step back in the right direction when staying-on third here (21.2f) on Boxing Day before unseating through no fault of his own latest. Capable of making an impact in staying handicaps off this mark.
Fairly useful bumper winner whose form in handicaps this season is proving solid, for all he took a while to knuckle down behind a subsequent improver over 2½m at Uttoxeter last time. Plenty of stamina in his pedigree and ought to improve upped in trip.
Resumed winning ways in a small field handicap hurdle at Hexham in June but has failed to complete on previous 2 starts and looks up against it in this company.
Jumped well to make a winning return in a Bangor novice and having disappointed on chase bow, got quickly back on track returned to hurdling when second at Leicester. In deeper waters now and switch to handicaps/longer trip will need to bring about improvement.
Fine summer jumping campaign, winning 4 handicaps on the bounce at up to 2½m but struggled in pair better company since and his jumping remains a concern.
Built on hurdling debut promise when easily landing the odds here in October and was much improved when chasing home Keable (winner on Saturday) on handicap bow at Newbury the following month. Off since but he's in excellent hands to progress again.
Progressive when landing a double on handicap bow at Newton Abbot in April but looked very rusty on reappearance at Wincanton on Boxing Day. Connections quick to reach for headgear following further 62 days off.
Near-useful bumper winner who following a breakthrough hurdle success at Lingfield, quickly revered to his error-strewn ways at Newbury last time. Chances hinge on whether he improves in that department.
Has shaped like a stayer whilst progressing steadily in novice/maiden hurdles and looks interesting now upped in trip for stable who won this race last year with a handicap debutant.

Forecasts
Woodland Park (2/1), Blue Carpet (5/1), Arcadian Star (11/2), Skuna Bay (13/2), Block Rockin Beats (13/2), Esprit Du Potier (8/1), Icare Allen (20/1), Moonset (20/1), Sixty Plus (25/1), Pinot Rouge (50/1)
Following a much improved second on handicap debut (form recently franked), BLUE CARPET makes plenty of appeal to go one better. Woodland Park is bred to be suited by this longer trip and may well improve for it, while Arcadian Star looks an interesting handicap debutant for last year's winning connections.
