Won twice last season and made a positive start to present campaign when runner-up at Stratford in October. In the frame but not at that level since, again found wanting in latter stages when left second 2 out in 4-runner handicap chase at Lingfield 3 weeks ago. Eased further in weights.

Multiple point winner who made amends for his late mishap here when opening his account in 12-runner handicap chase at Ludlow (20f, soft) 6 weeks ago, going with zest and only doing what was required after the last. Big player from 5 lb higher mark.

Showed little over hurdles during 2024 but successful in points thereafter and much improved over fences for this yard, easy winner at Perth (23.8f) in July. Sound runner-up efforts from much-inflated mark both outings thereafter and there's more wins in him. Cheekpieces on 1st time.

Young chaser on the up, off the mark at second attempt here (23f) in December before following up in big-field at Chepstow (23.6f) 4 weeks ago. Fortunate given his chief rival departed 2 out but no doubting he remains one to be positive about at this level.

Progressive hurdles winner who ran right up to his best when chasing home Fat Faced Columbo over fences here (23f) in December. In process of running poorly when departing 4 out back here 2 weeks ago but it's far too soon to be writing him off.

Successful 4 times in handicap hurdles, with 3 of her victories at Exeter. Hasn't looked a natural chaser so far, though, and it's probably best to look elsewhere.

Placed both runs in points and made more impact than previously over hurdles when 7 lengths third of 7 on handicap debut at Wincanton (21.4f, heavy) 12 days ago. Wheher he can back that up in a more truly-run race remains to be seen and he's operating from out of the weights now sent chasing.

A winner over further here in December, there's no doubting FAT FACED COLUMBO was rather fortunate to follow-up when his main rival departed 2 out at Chepstow 4 weeks ago. Yet, that shouldn't detract from his own positive profile and he remains very much of interest at this level and merits serious consideration in his hat-trick bid. Ludlow scorer Move With The Beat and Wheresmemoneygone are also progressive and head the dangers in an intriguing contest.
