Placed in a couple of bumpers (modest form) but has made a highly discouraging start to his hurdling career.
Stepped up on his debut form when second of 5 in bumper (11/2) at Warwick (16f, good) in May. In the process of showing an aptitude for hurdling after 9 months off when departing 2 out at Ludlow recently.
£70,000 purchase after finishing third in an Irish point in October. Shaped with plenty of promise amidst greenness when narrowly failing to justify support in AW bumper at Lingfield on sole outing for Nigel & Willy Twiston-Davies. Interesting hurdling debutant.
£35,000 4-y-o, Walk In The Park gelding. Won only outing in Irish points and showed more than first time up under Rules when third in third in Southwell maiden in February, not knocked about. In good hands and may do better still.
Hexham bumper winner but comfortably held completed start over hurdles.
Fairly useful Flat winner who showed more than first time up over hurdles when second in maiden at Newcastle (16.9f) in January. Sets the standard on that form.
Showed more than previously when fourth of 9 in juvenile hurdle (100/1) at this C&D (soft) 25 days ago, finishing with running left. Capable of better again but possibly more one for handicaps a bit further down the line.
Half-brother to 4 winners on Flat and confirmed promise of Huntingdon debut when scoring at Ludlow in November. Ran to a similar level in a Cheltenham listed event on most recent outing and must enter calculations on hurdling bow.
Fair stayer on the Flat for Harry Charlton who ran below that level sent hurdling at Wetherby in December.

Forecasts
Itsinthename (13/8), Crack Ops (5/2), Roarin' Success (4/1), Myrighthandman (11/2), Tony Joe (12/1), Emerald Time (16/1), Big Love (25/1), Warrior King (66/1), Art Dancer (300/1)
ITSINTHENAME shaped with plenty of encouragement despite failing to justify strong market support in an AW bumper on sole outing for Nigel & Willy Twiston-Davies at Lingfield last month and makes plenty of appeal now starting out over hurdles at an ordinary level. Roarin' Success sets the standard on her second at Newcastle, while bumper-winner Crack Ops and Myrighthandman merit consideration, too.
