Alto Altov14
Age: 9|  Weight: 12-0| J: Freddie Gordon| T: C Gordon| OR:  109| CD
All 5 career wins have been registered here and just lost out when bidding to win a C&D handicap for the third consecutive season a fortnight ago. Remains on a workable mark and another bold show is on the cards.

Godotp14
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-12| J: Caoilin Quinn| T: A Irvine| OR:  107| C
Winner of a Lingfield handicap hurdle in December 2024 and runner-up three times since, including when bouncing back from a poor reappearance effort with a good second returned to Lingfield last month. Ran no sort of a race here next time, though, and he's opposable back in this sphere.

Known Warrior28
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-1| J: Harry Bannister| T: R Bandey| OR:  96
Merely matched pick of his hurdles form when fourth in a 5-runner C&D handicap on chase debut following a wind op last month. That said, he could build on that and this 2 lb lower mark will certainly help.

Sanitiserb28
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-0| J: Freddie Mitchell(3)| T: G & J Moore| OR:  95
Won over hurdles at Kempton in November 2024 and while he's been somewhat up-and-down since, his latest third with blinkers refitted over this C&D wasn't a bad effort. Now 2 lb lower and will be a threat, provided that this is a truly-run race.

Kitsilanop11
Age: 9|  Weight: 10-13| J: Tom Cannon| T: D G Bridgwater| OR:  94
Ex-Irish winning hurdler who opened his account at the seventh attempt in this sphere when scoring in decisive fashion at Leicester (2m, soft) recently. That was his first run following a wind op and while more will be needed up 7 lb here, he has to enter calculations all the same.

Forecasts

Kitsilano (5/4), Alto Alto (15/8), Sanitiser (6/1), Known Warrior (7/1), Godot (16/1)

Verdict

The vote goes to ALTO ALTO, who pulled clear of the rest when going close back here last month and he is taken to enhance his strong course record. Kitsilano raised his game at Leicester 11 days ago and will be a threat if able to build on that, while Sanitiser looks dangerous, too, having slipped to a workable mark.
