Four Springs⁵⁶

15/8

Fetched €82,000 after easily winning sole start in Irish points and scored comfortably on his hurdles debut at Hereford in November. Backed it up with a very good third of 8 in 2m Market Rasen novice on Boxing Day so rates a player after subsequent breathing surgery.

Sinnatra¹⁵

4/11

Impressive bumper winner for Paul Nicholls last season. Has made up into a useful hurdler for his new yard, scoring at Sandown (2m) in January before posting a good third of 6 in 19.6f listed hurdle at Huntingdon 15 days ago when fading late having gone freely in front. The one to beat.

Form: 14-2213

Lancier Des Obeaux²⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: K Brogan| T: L Horsfall

150/1

No short-term promise in a Fontwell bumper and Uttoxeter maiden hurdle this winter. Significantly more is required.

Built on a debut bumper eighth when third of 13 in novice at Ludlow (21.2f, soft, 150/1) on his hurdles bow 36 days ago. Needs a lot more here though if he's to open his account.

Forecasts

Sinnatra (4/11), Four Springs (15/8), La Vish (50/1), Lancier Des Obeaux (150/1), Warrioress (150/1), Kampari (200/1)

Dan Skelton's useful scorer SINNATRA lost nothing in defeat when third in a listed contest at Huntingdon last time having gone freely in front and can quickly resume winning ways back at this slightly shorter trip here. Ben Pauling's Four Springs should ensure he doesn't have things all his own way though with La Vish appealing as the pick of the rest for minor honours.
