Point winner finished third on chase debut and won a handicap hurdle in March last year. Gambled on but ran no sort of race reverted to fences after 3 months off in handicap at Wexford (7/1) in July and hasn't been seen since. Worth a market check in first-time tongue strap.
Attracted support when hampered on stable debut/reappearance last year but below form when eighth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Gowran Park (22/1) last October. Stamina to prove now sent chasing over this 21f+ trip but one to keep an eye on in the betting.
Went with more zest in first-time cheekpieces when second at Fairyhouse (18/1) 49 days ago, and shaped as if in good form from his lower chase mark when 5th of 11 at Down Royal (9/2) 30 days ago. Could be capable of better over fences.
Has lost way and was never involved when eighth of 17 in a handicap hurdle at Thurles (28/1) 14 days ago, tailed off. Tongue strap back on but hard to fancy reverted to chasing.
Tailed off fourth of 4 in maiden chase at Fairyhouse last October, slow first and struggling when not fluent/lost touch. Won point-to-point earlier this month but remains to be seen if he can build on that back under Rules.
Winning pointer bounced back to form when fourth of 14 in chase handicap at Tramore but pulled up in maiden hurdle at Punchestown (40/1) 15 days ago, running no sort of race making hurdling bow. Better expected on return to chasing.
Has struggled since switching to chasing, tenth of 14, tailed off, in handicap chase (50/1) 49 days ago in first-time blinkers, led 3 out but folded tamely, finishing effort leaving a lot to be desired. Cheekpieces back on but hard to be confident on the back of recent performances.
Was 12th at Thurles on reappearance last November and shaped as if retaining ability when fifth of 10 at Naas (12/1) 66 days ago. Back up significantly in trip and returns to a course where successful before. Claims if backing up latest effort.
Bounced back to form when third of 12 in a handicap chase at Navan on Heavy ground (5/1) 33 days ago, disputed lead until early final circuit and remained prominent until no threat from 2 out. Could be the pace-angle back down in trip. Solid claims.
Out of sorts prior to eighth of 14 at Tramore (50/1) in 22.8f handicap chase 49 days ago, had excuses with bad mistake 5 out and badly hampered 4 out after 11-week break. Difficult to fancy.
Without a win in 23 starts, got back on track when second of 11 at Punchestown (50/1) 39 days ago but beaten 22 lengths, plugged on without laying a glove on the winner. Would need to take another step forward.
Fifth of 14 in handicap chase at Tramore (28/1) 49 days ago on reappearance/first run after leaving P. J. Rothwell, returned to form but no extra approaching last. May come on for that and races off his latest winning mark. One to consider.
Hasn't won in 56 runs. Third of 11 in handicap chase at Punchestown (33/1) 39 days ago, ran better than for a while but well held and merely plugged on. Remains opposable.
Yet to win in 25 starts, fifth of 16 in handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse (28/1) 35 days ago, having merely passed beaten horses. Cheekpieces back on for return to fences but has plenty to find.
Never won in 11 starts and pulled up at Punchestown (100/1) 39 days ago, raced off the pace and tailed off before 4 out after 17 months off. Hard to fancy. RESERVE
Wasn't disgraced when fourth at Down Royal on first start for new trainer but pulled up at Punchestown 39 days ago, labouring from 4 out. First-time blinkers. RESERVE

PLAIN OR BATTERED bounced back to form when third at Navan last month and can make a bold bid back down in distance. Nolans Rocco looks a danger back over fences, while Oneforgonzo remains in good form and merits consideration from his lower chase mark. Chase debutant Rodney Bay is one to keep an eye on in the betting.
