Veteran with a decent strike rate but signs of decline this term, fifth of 6 at Windsor (16.2f, soft) 27 days ago.

Resumed in good form last season, winning well at Carlisle before second in the Arkle Trial at Cheltenham. Run of good form came to an ubrupt halt since, however, and his hopes are pinned on a change of stable (has left Charlie Longsdon) sparking a revival on return.
Had dropped to his last winning mark and didn't go unbacked when making a successful return from 13 months off at Listowel in September. Off since but clearly goes well fresh.
Strong-travelling sort who improved to land a double in soft/heavy ground chases around 3m at Catterick/Newcastle in 2024. Drop back in trip no issue for this belated hat-trick bid and interesting if market suggests he's firing on all cylinders following 23-month absence.
Bumper/maiden hurdle winner for Paul Nicholls who easily landed a 20.5f Southwell handicap switched to fences on return for new yard in December. Bettered that form when second at Leicester just after Christmas. Likely capable of even better and leading claims.
Dual hurdles winner in Ireland a few seasons back but he's 0-8 over fences and failed to land a blow tried in blinkers both starts for this yard.
Progressing very well in handicap chases this season, making it 3 from 3 over C&D 4 weeks ago, hardly putting a foot wrong and taking full advantage of an uncontested lead. 5 lb rise may underestimate him.
Resumed winning ways off this mark over hurdles at Newcastle during the spring. By no means disgraced when beaten in a match on third run over fences back from a break at Warwick when last seen in October.
Bumper/dual 2m hurdles winner who made a good start over fences at Aintree in October. However, has failed to build on that since and doesn't look a natural jumper.
Blinkered for first time when scoring at Newcastle in November. Pulled up 2 of next 3 starts, however, running no sort of race at Leicester last month.
Winner at Newcastle off 2 lb higher 11 months ago but is proving fairly expensive to follow with his jumping becoming an increasing concern.

Throatlash (6/4), The Bluesman (7/4), Cerendipity (15/2), Anyharminasking (14/1), Pull Again Green (16/1), Taras Halls (18/1), Gentleman Bill (18/1), Nells Son (18/1), Twoshotsoftequila (25/1), Western Zephyr (33/1), Bythesametoken (40/1), Harsh (40/1)
THROATLASH was impressive when completing the hat-trick over C&D 4 weeks ago and could still be ahead of his mark after a 5 lb rise. The Bluesman is another progressive sort who remains of interest, while Irish veteran Bythesametoken defied an absence at Listowel in September so can clearly go well fresh.
