Haven't Time²⁰

Age: 12| Weight: 12-2| J: Miss Lucy Turner| T: Miss S McQueen| OR: 112

16/1

Fairly useful chaser who wasn't disgraced after 9 months off when a fading fourth of 8 to Golden Son in hunter at Warwick (24f, soft) 20 days ago. Can build on it now.

Form: 3/32P6-4

Just Loose Change³⁵

Age: 9| Weight: 12-2| J: Mr Martin McIntyre⁽³⁾| T: Darren McAlinden| OR: 110| C

28/1

Fair chaser who scored at Huntingdon in November 2024 but was below par subsequently for Nicky Martin. Carried out in 2m5f hunter here for his new yard last month and has run out in a point since.

Form: P54-3UC

Snipe^p¹⁷

Age: 9| Weight: 12-2| J: Mr Dominic Lewis⁽⁷⁾| T: D Skelton| OR: 125

5/1

Bounced back to form on his first try in hunter company when landing 5-runner event at Hereford (20.9f, soft) 17 days ago. This is tougher but he can't be dismissed.

Form: 444871

Beacon Edge^b³²

Age: 12| Weight: 11-12| J: Mr Joshua Newman| T: J Newman| OR: 144| D

2/1

Smart winning hurdler/chaser at his best who signed off for Gordon Elliott with fortunate success in 2m1f claiming hurdle at Wexford last May. Landed a point last month for his new connections and this veteran is a key player.

Form: 24701-1

Revels Hill²⁹³

Age: 11| Weight: 11-12| J: Mr D Andrews⁽³⁾| T: Mrs J Boucher| OR: 123| CD

22/1

A useful winning chaser here for Harry Fry in 2022/23 but very lightly raced nowadays. Off 9 months since posting a fair fourth of 6 for his new yard in hunter chase at Chepstow (23.6f, good to firm) so has his fitness to prove.

Form: 323P/44-

Whitsand Bay^p1,t1⁶⁰

Age: 10| Weight: 11-12| J: Richard Upton⁽⁷⁾| T: Miss Chaston

125/1

Multiple point winner but he's been pulled up on his last 2 starts in that sphere, latest in December, so has a bit to prove here.

Form: PP-22PP

Forecasts

Golden Son (1/1), Beacon Edge (2/1), Snipe (5/1), Haven't Time (16/1), Revels Hill (22/1), Just Loose Change (28/1), Whitsand Bay (125/1)

Veteran BEACON EDGE showed his well-being with a recent point victory for his new yard so this one-time smart winning chaser looks the way to go. Recent Warwick hunter scorer Golden Son rates the obvious danger, with Snipe and Haven't Time appealing as the pick of the rest in the battle for minor honours.
