Easy winner sole start in points and won first two starts over hurdles but flopped badly on chasing debut after 10 months off, pulling up at Ffos Las (5/4f) 107 days ago. Surely can't have been right that day and too soon to dismiss on just his second start over fences.

Fairly useful hurdler who returned from a further 15 months off and was well held on stable debut upped markedly in trip at Wincanton (22/1) 28 days ago. Entitled to come on for that but yard still not firing on all cylinders.

In good form with a win and a second at Lingfield prior to finishing second of 7 in handicap chase at this course (5/1) 23 days ago, no answer to a well-treated rival. Sure to give another good account dropped in grade.

Failed to complete in last four starts since winning a 2-runner claimer last April, tailed off when pulled up in handicap chase at Haydock (125/1, 10 ran) 26 days ago. Dropped 6 lb but plenty to prove with first-time cheekpieces applied.

Produced best effort to date when clear second of 9 in handicap chase at Wetherby in early December (solid form). Fourth of 8 in handicap chase at Lingfield (15/2) 24 days ago, in touch but made a few jumping errors. Sean Bowen aboard and capable of bouncing back if tidier over his fences.

Forecasts

Rosscahill (6/4), No Tackle (2/1), One Last Glance (3/1), Mombasa (13/2), Stormin Crossgales (125/1)

Verdict

ONE LAST GLANCE produced his best effort with a solid second at Wetherby in early December but made a few jumping errors at Lingfield last time. He can get back on track with Sean Bowen taking over in the saddle, while No Tackle is in good form and looks the danger, having finished second to a well-treated rival here 23 days ago. It's too early to write off point winner Rosscahill who clearly wasn't 100% when flopping on his chasing debut in October.
