Fairly useful Flat winner (stays 11.5f) for Joseph O'Brien who showed a bit starting out in this sphere for new yard when sixth of 12 in juvenile hurdle at Thurles (15.8f, heavy) 13 days ago. Feasible to think she can do better but handicaps may be more her bag further down the line.

Ulysses filly who finished midfield on her only start in bumpers but went the wrong way from her hurdles bow when eighth of 12 in a Wincanton maiden (15.2f) 4 weeks ago. Another who will be better off in handicaps in due course.

Well beaten in 4 starts on the Flat for Marco Botti during first half of last year and inauspicious start for new yard when fourth of 5 in juvenile hurdle at Leicester (15.5f, soft) on NH debut 86 days ago, left behind 4 out. Blinkers go back on now.

Scalo filly who was tongue tied for debut and ultimately shaped like a longer-term project when ninth of 11 in juvenile hurdle at Ludlow (15.8f, soft) 56 days ago, running green. This promises to reveal more.

Well held in a Stratford bumper and Ludlow juvenile hurdle first 2 starts but she did show more despite being very fractious beforehand when fifth of 8 in juvenile hurdle at Newbury (16.3f) 4 weeks ago. Hood now reached for but she's the type to do better in handicaps/over further.

Fair maiden on Flat in France (stays 9.5f) but proved friendless in the betting after 8 months off and ultimately finished well held when sixth of 9 in juvenile hurdle at Catterick (15.7f) 12 days ago. Best watched for now with a tongue strap added.

Postponed filly who showed a good attitude to make a winning debut in a 10-runner Doncaster bumper back in November. Didn't find things panning out ideally when midfield under a penalty at Ludlow (15.8f) 4 weeks ago but she appeals as the type to make her mark now hurdling.

Hinted at promise when a debut fourth of 12 in bumper here in December but looked badly in need of the experience when eleventh of 13 in novice hurdle at Taunton (16.5f, soft) on hurdles bow 25 days ago. Passed over.

Nathaniel filly who shaped with plenty of encouragement in finishing placed both starts over hurdles late last year, equipped with a first-time hood when second of 11 in juvenile hurdle at Ludlow (15.8f, soft) 56 days ago. Likely she can do better again and obvious claims here.

Forecasts

The Procrastinator (11/8), Whitletts (11/8), Annie's Angel (4/1), Upton's Mighty Oak (22/1), Mya Du Clos (22/1), Athena's Dream (22/1), Isabella Islay (50/1), Prettylady (80/1), Cantalice (150/1)

Verdict

WHITLETTS did better with her debut run under her belt equipped with a first-time hood when second in a Ludlow juvenile back in December and very much appealing as the type to progress further for her leading stable, she looks to hold sound claims of going one place better. Bumper scorer The Procrastinator could well emerge as the chief danger.
