Returned from 11 months off with third at Tramore after leaving Gary & Josh Moore, then 11th of 15 in handicap hurdle at Punchestown (10/1) 4 weeks ago but shaped better than result, leading and jumping fluently before hampered. Hood refitted and on a handy mark with good-value conditional aboard.
Snapped a losing streak when winning handicap hurdle at this course (10/1) 83 days ago with first-time blinkers but has disappointed since, sixth of 12 in maiden chase at Punchestown (8/1) 28 days ago doing too much too soon. Hit-and-miss performer.
Runner-up at this course in December and has now hit the frame in his last three starts. Third of 15 in handicap hurdle at Gowran Park (12/1) 17 days ago, posting an effort up there with his very best as he made good progress before the last and kept on run-in. Claims with cheekpieces back on.
Showed improvement to finish third at Naas after hurdle debut before seventh of 18 in maiden hurdle at Limerick (16/1) 43 days ago, shaping as if still in good form and looking the type to better in handicaps. Handicap debut and open to improvement.
Last won a handicap hurdle at this course in January 2024 and was fifth of 12 in handicap chase here (18/1) 22 days ago after a further 9-month absence. Plenty to prove back over hurdles.
Had been winning regularly before latest outing. Pulled up at Fairyhouse (9/4) 38 days ago in handicap hurdle, beaten before the 26f trip became an issue. Entitled to bounce back from that disappointing effort.
Has been performing consistently in handicap hurdles, second of 10 in handicap hurdle at Navan (7/4F) 22 days ago, shaped well in defeat when left poorly placed relative to the all-the-way winner. Often attracts support and threatening to come good soon.
Left Ellmarie Holden's yard and was third at Clonmel on stable debut before disappointing at Limerick, then second of 15 in handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse (14/1) 24 days ago, showed a bit more making steady headway but no match for well-handicapped winner. Up 3 lb but should go well.
Yet to win from 4 starts in maiden company and was fifth of 16 at Punchestown (150/1) 13 days ago, taking closer order before sixth but never landing a blow. Handicap debut and may be better suited to this test.
Struggled in maiden hurdles last year but showed marked improvement on handicap bow when sixth of 16 at Punchestown (100/1) 27 days ago, made headway out wide entering straight and kept on. May benefit from slightly longer trip here.
Yet to win from 8 starts. Had shown a step in the right direction when seventh of 18 at Limerick but ran no sort of race when pulled up in handicap hurdle at Clonmel (12/1) 31 days ago. First-time blinkers replace cheekpieces and that needs to spark improvement from out of the handicap.

Forecasts
Teds Corner (3/1), Hitthehayson (9/2), The Miracle Man (5/1), Jupiter Du Gite (13/2), Belladona Princess (13/2), Westandtogether (9/1), Wakey Wakey Man (10/1), Themanintheboots (14/1), Butty O Brien (20/1), Drumcliff Bay (33/1), Vallon Du Plessis (33/1)
JUPITER DU GITE shaped better than the result suggests at Punchestown and with a hood back on, he can capitalise on a drop in class. Teds Corner shaped well when second at the track 22 days ago and is threatening to come good, while Hitthehayson had been winning regularly before pulling up last time and is entitled to bounce back. Belladona Princess and Westandtogether look potential improvers now handicapping.
