Sent off a big price but achieved plenty when a keeping-on fourth in listed company at Cheltenham on debut and didn't need to improve to get off the mark with his sights lowered at Wetherby (2m) next time. Has more on his plate back up in grade but shouldn't be overlooked.

€105,000 3-y-o, Getaway gelding. Brother to useful hurdlers Tripoli Flyer and Anyharminasking and looked cut from a similar cloth when making a promising winning debut at Market Rasen (16.6f) in December, asserting final 1f. Better to come.

Improved on debut form to land a weak affair at Wexford (16.7f, good to soft) in July. Left Peter John Flood after and improved appreciably when following up at Ballinrobe on sole outing for Mark Fahey since. Subsequently sold for £100,000 and well worth a shot at this level.

Made positive start to his career when thwarted only narrowly by No Walkover at Chepstow (16.1f, soft) before going one better with something to spare in 6-runner event at Fontwell (17.7f) 43 days ago. More required now stepping up in grade.

Produced a promising first effort when second of 10 in bumper at Ffos Las in April. Not ideally placed when below that level in a stronger race at Cheltenham in October but this is even tougher.

Runner-up in Irish point and impressed with the way he travelled when going one better in a Chepstow bumper in November, edging ahead again near finish. Wasted no time proving that did him no justice when following up under a penalty at Aintree and has to be taken seriously up in grade.

Harzand gelding who overcame inexperience to make a winning debut in 8-runner bumper at Wincanton in November. Ran well upped in grade when fourth of 15 in listed event at Ascot subsequently, doing well under the circumstances having raced up with the strong gallop. Has each-way claims.

£190,000 4-y-o, No Risk At All gelding. Half-brother to bumper winner/useful hurdler Ask Paddington. Won sole start in Irish points and looked an excellent prospect when following up in 9-runner bumper at Warwick (2m) 38 days ago. Sure to go on to better things.

Hillstar gelding. Closely related to a winner, and half-brother to 4 winners, including bumper winner/useful hurdler Flash The Steel. Looked a useful prospect when impressive winner of 10-runner bumper at Wincanton (15.2f, heavy) on debut 23 days ago. Interesting contender up in grade.

Masked Marvel gelding who has displayed fair form on all 3 starts to date, albeit looked more wayward than green when 6¼ lengths third of 8 to the reopposing No Walkover at Aintree (17f, good) on most recent outing. Has it all to do in this grade.

Forecasts

No Walkover (6/4), Risky Obsession (10/3), Trojan Tale (6/1), Smile John Boy (15/2), No Way Jay (17/2), A Likeable Rogue (12/1), Governors Rock (12/1), Half Hoping (16/1), Wonder Flying (22/1), Get Out Of My Way (33/1), Not Without Danger (33/1)

Verdict

RISKY OBSESSION looked a most promising sort when readily accounting for Smile John Boy at Warwick and looks sure to go on to better things now stepping up in grade. No Walkover proved his Chepstow scramble hadn't done him full justice when running out a clear-cut winner under a penalty at Aintree and is much respected bidding for a hat-trick, with Trojan Tale another fascinating contender having created a fine impression first time up at Wincanton.
