Fair chaser. Won a point in November but turned in a lacklustre display in a Down Royal hunter over Christmas. Others are preferred.

Smart for Willie Mullins in his prime. The winner of 3 of his 4 point starts this winter and a potential class act on hunter debut.

Lightly-raced sort from top yard who easily landed 14-runner maiden hunter at Limerick (22.5f, heavy) over Christmas. Good 16½ lengths third of 13 to Panda Boy in a stronger hunter at Thurles (25f, good to soft) since but no obvious reason why he'll turn tables on Martin Brassil's charge.

Useful sort who made a winning start to his hunter career at Thurles (25f, good to soft) 3 weeks ago, with the reopposing Last Round 16½ lengths back in third. The obvious threat to Hunters Yarn.

Fairly useful sort who won this race last year. Fit from a recent point second at the end of December but this looks a slightly stronger renewal than 12 months ago.

Forecasts

Hunters Yarn (15/8), Panda Boy (85/40), Ryehill (7/2), Last Round (4/1), Galon De Vauzelle (40/1)

Verdict

Three recent point wins suggest HUNTERS YARN still retains a good chunk of his ability and he's preferred to recent Thurles hunter scorer Panda Boy.
