Big City Roller^p1²⁷

Age: 8| Weight: 12-2| J: Lily Pinchin| T: C E Longsdon| OR: 122| D

3/1

Point/novice hurdle winner hasn't stood much racing but defied a significant absence to make a successful chase debut at Bangor (heavy) in February. Better than the result when fifth on comeback at Exeter last month and has definite claims if back to best in first-time cheekpieces.

Officer Of State²⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-7| J: Caoilin Quinn| T: G & J Moore| OR: 113

11/10

Dual winner over hurdles and he advanced his form when getting off the mark over fences at just the second time of asking in 10-runner handicap at Windsor (22.2f, soft) 20 days ago. Up 6 lb but scored cosily there and rates a major player.

Form: 822-131

Sherborne^t⁵¹

Age: 10| Weight: 11-7| J: Freddie Gingell| T: J Tizzard| OR: 113| C| D

7/2

Won twice last season and made a positive start to present campaign when runner-up at Stratford in October. In the frame but not at that level both runs since though at Newton Abbon and Wincanton so needs to step forward after a break.

Form: 41-P234

Koenigsstern¹⁷

Age: 9| Weight: 10-12| J: James Davies| T: N J Gifford| OR: 104

11/2

Opened his chase account at Fontwell on Boxing Day 2024. Posted his best effort since when a clear second at Warwick (2½m) in December and failed to get home when fifth of 8 in 23.5f handicap here 17 days ago. Needs considering back in trip.

Form: 464-325

Forecasts

Officer Of State (11/10), Big City Roller (3/1), Sherborne (7/2), Koenigsstern (11/2)

OFFICER OF STATE looked an improved model when opening his account in this sphere at Windsor last month and can make light of a 6 lb rise. The lightly-raced Big City Roller could emerge as the main danger if building on his Exeter reappearance.
