Joined current connections in May (bought from Shark Hanlon) and ran well when 4th at Worcester last August. Tenth of 15 in handicap hurdle at Huntingdon (33/1) 14 days ago, tailed off on return from 5-month break. Entitled to strip fitter down in class and hasn't been long with excellent yard.

Ran well when narrow second on return from 20-month absence at Fontwell in December but seventh of 14 in handicap hurdle there (11/2) 25 days ago, effort proved short-lived when failing to stay longer trip in testing conditions. Should fare better back down in trip.

Yet to fire since leaving Nicky Henderson but showed signs of better when well-backed fourth of 13 in handicap hurdle at this course (5/1) 17 days ago, travelled well but unable to see out 19.5f. Return to 2m should suit and has strong claims back down in grade in change of headgear.

Veteran C&D winner showed he retains some ability when second of 6 in handicap hurdle at Fontwell (80/1) last May on return to hurdles after struggling over fences but 1 lb out of the handicap and fitness a concern following 266 days off.
|
11-year-old mare without a win in over 2 years, sixth of 13 in handicap hurdle at Taunton (14/1) 19 days ago. Seemingly no better than that nowadays and hard to make a strong case for from 6 lb out of the handicap.

Raffles Nobu (1/1), Bridge (3/1), A Mere Bagatelle (4/1), Sawpit Sienna (10/1), Ask Peter (10/1), Tommy Dillion (11/1)
RAFFLES NOBU hasn't fully fired since leaving Nicky Henderson but shaped with plenty of encouragement when fourth at this course 17 days ago, travelling strongly before the 20f trip found him out. The drop back to 2m looks ideal and, with blinkers reapplied, he can get back on track. Ask Peter ran well at Taunton on Tuesday, while A Mere Bagatelle is entitled to come on significantly for his recent return from a five-month absence.
