Canine Premier Flex Plus Joint Supplement Handicap Hurdle

Dual winner of handicap hurdles off higher marks than this last spring. Hasn't really threatened since but he has won round here in the past and will be a serious player if back to something like his best.

Thrived since a tongue strap was combined with cheekpieces, landing a quickfire hurdles hat-trick at Lingfield in December. Ponderous jumping proved costly when second at Fakenham (23.4f, soft) recently but he's usually pretty efficient in that department and is of strong interest back down in trip.

Winner of a Carlisle bumper last February and while it's been all low-key stuff in a trio of novice hurdles, it certainly wouldn't be much of a surprise were he to take a step forward now pitched into a handicap with cheekpieces enlisted.

Winless since early 2024 and didn't show enough on recent debut for this yard at Wetherby to suggest that he's about to snap the losing run anytime soon.

Boasts just the one win from 23 starts over hurdles and this season's efforts have not been at all inspiring, including when tried in blinkers at Ffos Las last time. Cheekpieces back on here and the handicapper has given him a chance but no real reason to anticipate a revival anytime soon.

Failed to measure up to market expectations in handicaps at Chepstow and Ffos Las on final 2 starts of last season but looked an improved model when striking on recent reappearance at Warwick (19f, soft). Major claims up 5 lb if able to build on that.

Looks very modest judged on the available evidence and it's easy enough to look elsewhere.
