bet365 Handicap Chase (GBB Race)

Consistent in handicap chases in 2024 but below form both starts in spring of last year. He's dropped below his last winning mark however and has gone well fresh previously.

Fairly useful winner of 2m Punchestown handicap chase for Gavin Cromwell in June but yet to recapture his form for new yard, finishing well held second in 3-runner novice chase at Kelso last time. Back in a handicap off a falling mark but remains to be seen if he can capitalise.

Improved on hurdle form when making a successful chase debut at Windsor on New Year's Day and did well to follow up at Haydock (16.3f, good to soft) 15 days ago having conceded first run to useful runner-up. Should be more to come and has solid claims to land the hat-trick.

C&D winner proved a hit-and-miss performer last season but posted a career-best to make a winning return at Kelso in September. Can be forgiven his subsequent run at Newcastle following a serious mistake at the third but has more on his plate in this grade.

Maiden hurdler who has taken very well to fences, going one better than on chase debut to land 9-runner handicap chase at Huntingdon (16.5f), notably travelling/jumping well. Succumbed to an early error at Ludlow last time but he's in good hands and remains capable of better.
