Two wins from 4 runs last year. Ninth of 13 in handicap at Newcastle (10.2f, 12/1) 14 days ago. Entitled to come for that (first run following an 8-month break) and each-way claims back down in trip here.
Four-time course winner. Three wins from 15 runs last year. Fourth of 7 in handicap (18/5) at Newcastle (8f) 8 days ago, not ideally placed. Likely to find a few too good.
C&D winner. 5/1, creditable 1¾ lengths fourth of 11 to Tribal Wisdom in handicap at this C&D 55 days ago, running on. Not without each-way hope.
6/1, last of 8 in handicap at Musselburgh (9f, good to firm) when last seen in June. Gelded since and he's very much of interest now returned to the AW.
Latest win at Haydock in September. Last of 10 in handicap at Southwell (8.1f, 9/4) 70 days ago. Needs to bounce back.
C&D winner. Fifth of 8 in handicap at Southwell (7.1f, 13/2) 7 days ago. Back up in trip and he again looks vulnerable for win purposes.
Seventeen runs since last win in 2024. 12/1, creditable third of 12 in handicap at this C&D 34 days ago. Remains of interest from current mark (last win was gained off 13 lb higher) and he's a must for the shortlist.
Latest win at Newcastle in November. Cheekpieces on for 1st time, seventh of 9 in handicap at Newcastle (8f, 12/1) 14 days ago. Opposable.
Eighth of 9 in handicap at Doncaster (8f, good, 3/1) on latest start 6 months ago (gelded in the interim). Easy enough to look elsewhere.

Epictetus (7/2), Special Ghaiyyath (9/2), Borgi (9/2), City Of God (9/2), Cristo (6/1), Hitched (7/1), Farasi Lane (7/1), Uniting (7/1), Tribal Wisdom (12/1), Panama Black (22/1)
FARASI LANE again hinted that he could be about to capitalise on the handicapper's mercy when third over C&D last month and the 8-y-o is taken to deliver on that promise. City of God came up short in Class 2 turf handicaps on his final two starts of 2025 but he showed plenty on the all-weather last winter and rates the clear main danger ahead of Epictetus.
