Kidam Roque^h¹⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 9-11| J: Julian Pietropaolo⁽⁷⁾| T: E Griffin

7/1

Soundly beaten in a pair of bumpers but more like it switched to this code, again running to a fair level when fourth of 9 in maiden at this course (12f, 12/1) 15 days ago. However, likely he'll hold more chance in handicaps after this.

Form: 5-4

Railway Hurricane³⁹

Age: 11| Weight: 9-11| J: Gary Carroll| T: P W Flynn

50/1

Useful jumps winner for Gavin Cromwell who finished well held on stable/Flat debut at the Curragh in October and similar story in pair of subsequent hurdle runs. This veteran rates best watched.

Form: 0-

(5)

Anchors Away¹⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 9-9| J: Rory Cleary| T: M G Quinn

200/1

Lightly-raced gelding. 150/1, eleventh of 12 in maiden at this C&D 19 days ago, always behind on the back of an 8-month layoff. Another who can only be watched.

Form: 00/0-0

(3)

Battling Siki¹⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 9-9| J: Declan McDonogh| T: M Fahey

16/1

Churchill gelding who went with little encouragement when seventh of 9 in maiden at this course (12f, 20/1) on debut 15 days ago, racing off the pace and never a threat. This promises to reveal more.

Form: 7

(8)

Palmezzano^p¹⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 9-9| J: Reese Holohan⁽⁷⁾| T: D Hogan| OR: 70

5/2

Fair gelding. Remains a maiden after 8 Flat runs. 7/2, good fourth of 12 in maiden at this C&D 19 days ago, plugging on. Cheekpieces back on and he's a likely player.

Form: 72P74-4

(6)

Tyraxes^p1,t¹⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 9-9| J: J M Sheridan| T: D Hogan| OR: 72

13/8

Lightly-raced gelding. 25/1, good second of 9 in maiden at this course (12f) 15 days ago, ultimately outbattled having wandered under pressure. Cheekpieces on 1st time and he clearly has the ability to play a lead role provided he stays straight this time.

Form: 340-2

(7)

Qamari¹⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 9-6| J: Rory Mulligan⁽⁷⁾| T: J C McConnell| OR: 66

3/1

Lightly-raced mare who ran better than she has for a while returned to this venue when third of 12 in a C&D maiden 19 days ago. No reason why she won't be thereabouts again.

Form: 34/340-3

(1)

Nowshesdancing

Age: 4| Weight: 9-4| J: Gavin Ryan| T: M Fahey

18/1

Teofilo filly. Dam 6f winner out of useful 1m-1¼m winner Miss Honorine. Betting can point the way on debut.

Forecasts

Tyraxes (13/8), Palmezzano (5/2), Qamari (3/1), Kidam Roque (7/1), Battling Siki (16/1), Nowshesdancing (18/1), Railway Hurricane (50/1), Anchors Away (200/1)

TYRAXES hasn't many miles on the clock and likely would have won had he kept straight under pressure when runner-up in a similar event 15 days ago. The application of first-time cheekpieces may help in that regard now and he earns the vote over Palmezzano. Qamari is another likely to be in the mix.
