Point winner who was runner-up both starts in bumpers last season and made a successful return/hurdles debut in a Bangor novice (16.7f, heavy) in November. Turned over when odds on next time but he may do better now upped in trip for this handicap debut.
Made the frame all 3 starts over hurdles in France for Francois Nicolle. Perhaps needed the run when sixth of 13 in a first-time tongue strap (retained) on debut for new yard in 2m Ayr maiden but his mark for this handicap bow doesn't look particularly generous.
£42,000 buy from the Irish pointing field who shaped like a stayer on bumper/hurdle debut and took a step forward when third behind a subsequent winner at Warwick (21f, soft) last month. Could take a step forward now handicapping, provided he gets a strong pace to aim at.
£100,000 Irish point recruit who made winning start for new connections in Southwell bumper last winter. Off the mark at third attempt in this sphere when landing a Catterick novice (19.3f, good) on New Year's Day and he should have more to offer now pitched into a handicap.
Failed to make his mark over fences after winning a Bangor maiden hurdle last season. Return to this sphere didn't have the desired effect in a C&D handicap on New Year's Eve and it's probably best to look elsewhere.
Opened hurdles account at Haydock in December 2024 and followed that with a solid second at Ayr 2 months later. Proved he retains all his ability when third of 9 returned to Haydock (24.3f, good to soft) on his seasonal reappearance and he's one to consider back down in trip here.
Maiden pointer who opened Rules account at the fourth attempt when staying on well to land a 6-runner handicap hurdle at Fakenham (2m, soft) last month. 5 lb rise could be enough to anchor him in this more competitive race, though.
Would have a serious chance off this mark if close to his best but he's none too reliable and hasn't won on these shores for the best part of 5 years.

Forecasts
In The Age (13/8), Codetalker (11/4), Orderoftheday (6/1), Warriors Destiny (13/2), Gege Ville (7/1), Galassian (18/1), Lucky One (25/1), Locquirec (33/1)
IN THE AGE pulled a county mile clear of the rest with the runner-up when landing a Catterick novice under Harry Atkins at the beginning of the month, and he is taken to add to that now handicapping off what looks a plausible opening mark. Fellow handicap debutants Orderoftheday and Warriors Destiny rate the main dangers.
